Geophile provides a powerful search operation, spatial join. Given two
sets of spatial objects, spatial join locates pairs of objects such
that each object comes from one of the input sets, and the two objects
exhibit some spatial relationship, e.g. overlap or proximity. Each set
of objects is a space and is represented by a Geophile index which
encapsulates a conventional index.
Here are examples of the searches that can be implemented using spatial join: |
